Crane Mechanic and Hyrail Technician - dual position

American Crane Repair is seeking an entry level mechanic to service mobile cranes & equipment. American Crane Repair is expanding and growing around the NW. Come join our team!

Mechanic Duties (Entry Level)

• Follow instructions from senior mechanics on proper maintenance procedures and repairs.

• Ability to learn hand signals and follow voice commands in setting up different cranes for service or repair. 

• Be able to perform basic preventive maintenance services and replace like for like parts.

• Take initiative in keeping work area clean and tools clean and put away when job completed.

• Repair parts, weld, and operate equipment necessary as a part of the repair process.

Requirements

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions year-round.

• Must possess mechanical aptitude.

• Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision once tasks are mastered.

• Must have clean driving record and be drug free as a condition of employment.

• Must be able to purchase own tools as skills are learned and need arises.
